Day four of our vacation

THis was the forth day of our vacation we went to the red woods it was amazing.

Day three of our vacation

This was our third day on vacation we traveled from prospect OR to fortuna CA which was about a 6 hour drive. we crossed the border to Cali and went on a road that lead us down by the ocean. It was beautiful and we found tons of sea shells. then we set up camp and ate dinner. Later that evening we went to a beautiful town called "Ferndale" where they shot the movie "the majestic" The town was so beautiful all the architecture made it look like a town from the early 1900 especialy if the pictures are in sepia. Anyway today was a blast tomorrow we head to the giant red woods!!!! that will be fun:)

day two of our vacation

This was the second day of our vacation and it was a blast!!!! first we found a hiking trail that lead to a little water fall that was beautiful. then we found another trail that lead to two huge waterfalls that were amazing. then we headed off to crater lake which was a 30 minute drive but was worth it because it was amazing as well. on our way back to camp we found a little trail that lead to a spot in the river where the water is forced down under a cave of rocks and then comes out again just a little ways down the river. apparently it is supposed to make this natural bridge right over the water but we came during flood season and the water was flowing under and over the rocks so it just looked like any other river. bummer but it was still beautiful and we got good pictures :)

oops! THIS is day one of our vacation

This was day one of our 11 day trip to west oregon and southern california. It was a seven hour trip up to Crater Lake. we were very surprised when we pulled into our RV park which was beautiful. We have been going down all the trails we can find and found one that leads to the river which is beautiful and at fist we thought we were standing on rocks at the edge of the river and then realized it was cooled lava! omg it was so cool! there was a little sand there and we found bear tracks in it. I practically ran back to camp :)

Today at church,second service, Dad got up to start announcements but instead said "put that picture up again".( the picture they used for the background for worship) he said "I just have to brag about my daughter for a second". the picture went up, it was just a picture I had shot of mom's flowers. he said "My youngest girl took that picture isn't it pretty? by the way, she isn't here is she?" I wasn't sitting in my usual place so he probably didn't see me during worship. I raised my hand and said " um.. I'm right here." he said " oh well in that case it's just mediocre." everyone turned around and stared at me to see how I would react. Dad laughed and I slumped down into my chair and put me Bible over my face. everyone laughed.IT WAS SO EMBARRASSING!!! If your reading this dad make no mistake I will get you back and it WILL be in public :)

After the service was over everyone had something to say to me about the picture or dad's comments. One guy even offered me a job as a photographer!!!!!
